Collabstr Review and Pricing, what Collabstr costs brands on every plan
Collabstr is free to hire from, then charges $299 or $399 a month for campaigns, and takes a fee from both the brand and the creator on every order. Below is each plan, where the fee lands, what reviewers report, and the spend where a monthly marketplace plan costs less.
$0
Free plan, 10% fee
$299
Pro, 1 campaign a month
$399
Premium, 5% fee
The short answer
Collabstr pricing is $0, $249 or $333 a month billed annually, about $299 and $399 month to month, with a 10% hiring fee on Free and Pro and 5% on Premium. Creators pay a separate 15% on their payout. Enterprise starts at $1,000 a month on an annual contract. Reviewers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Trustpilot. It is the cheapest option for occasional orders and a pricier one for a brand that needs campaigns every month.
Collabstr plans and what each one unlocks
Collabstr's pricing page leads with annual prices and the yearly saving, so the month-to-month figure is the annual price plus that saving spread over twelve months. The key difference from most UGC platforms: the free plan already includes escrow and direct hiring. What you pay for is campaigns, a lower fee and reporting.

Where the Collabstr fee lands on a $500 order
Collabstr charges twice on the same order. The brand pays the hiring fee on top of the package, and the creator gives up 15% of the payout. Collabstr's FAQ states both, and the brand's share is shown before you confirm.
Why it matters to a buyer: creators who know 15% comes off tend to price that into their packages, so the list price on a profile already carries part of the platform's cut. On our marketplace the fee is a single line on the brand's order, 10%, 7% or 5% by plan, as the UGC pricing page shows.

$425

$125
Free plan. On Premium the brand fee drops to $25, so Collabstr keeps $100 of the same order.
Which Collabstr plan pays off, and at what creator spend
Pro and Free charge the same 10%, so Pro never saves money. It buys campaigns and chat. Premium is the only tier that lowers cost, and it has to earn back its monthly price through the 5 points it takes off the fee.
$2,000 a month
Premium beats Pro
Above $2,000 of creator spend, the 5% saving covers the extra $100. Anyone on Pro spending more than that is overpaying. Annual billing moves it to about $1,700.
$7,980 a month
Premium beats Free
Only above roughly $8,000 of monthly creator spend does Premium cost less than hiring for free at 10%. On annual billing the line is about $6,700.
Never on fees
Pro
Pro costs $299 more than Free at every spend level. You buy it for one campaign a month and the chance to negotiate before you pay.
Collabstr pricing next to a marketplace plan, at five spend levels
Overhead only: plan price plus the brand-side fee, monthly billing on both sides. Two Collabstr columns, because the honest answer depends on whether you need campaigns. Creator rates differ between any two pools, so compare what the platform costs you, not the videos.
| Creator spend per month | Collabstr Free, direct hire only | Cheapest Collabstr plan with campaigns | UGCcreators plan | UGCcreators overhead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $500 | $50 | Pro, $349 | Starter, 3 hires | $99 |
| $1,000 | $100 | Pro, $399 | Starter, 3 hires | $149 |
| $2,500 | $250 | Premium, $524 | Plus, 10 hires | $324 |
| $5,000 | $500 | Premium, $649 | Plus, 10 hires | $499 |
| $10,000 | $1,000 | Premium, $899 | Plus, 10 hires | $849 |
If you only buy from profiles
Collabstr Free wins up to about $5,000 a month, by $49 at $500 and $74 at $2,500, and ties with us around $5,000. Above that our Plus plan edges ahead, provided ten hires cover the month.
If you need a brief creators apply to
Our plans cost $150 to $250 less a month up to $5,000 of creator spend, because briefing is included from Starter up. At $10,000 the gap shrinks to $50, and past ten hires a month our Pro plan at $499 and 5% applies, which costs $100 more than Premium.
Collabstr review, what the record shows
Third-party ratings, labeled as such. Collabstr holds a 4.5 out of 5 TrustScore on Trustpilot from 474 reviews. The distribution is lopsided in its favor: 88% five-star, 5% one-star.
What reviewers praise
Easy navigation, smooth messaging between creators and brands, and payouts that land within about a day of approval. Nearly all of that praise comes from the creator side.
What brands complain about
Hired creators who never accept or respond, refunds that one brand called hard to get back, and profiles a brand says the creators themselves did not recognize.
Who writes most reviews
Creators, not brands. Most of the 474 reviews are from the sell side praising payouts, so weigh the brand-side comments more heavily when you budget.
What it means for a buyer
The money is safe, since escrow refunds a no-show. The cost of a no-show is time: a campaign that has to be reposted and a week lost on a test calendar.
Where Collabstr is the better buy
A pricing page that only flatters one side is useless for budgeting. Collabstr has real strengths, and for some brands they settle the choice.
Occasional orders
A few packages a year cost nothing but the 10% fee. No subscription anywhere, ours included, beats that for a light buyer.
Pool size
Collabstr lists 1.2 million plus creators. Our catalog is new and much smaller, so a narrow niche fills faster there.
Influencer posting and analytics
Live post tracking, audience reports and fake-follower checks for sponsored posts. We sell video files for your ad account, not posting.
Global payouts
Payments and tax paperwork handled in 150 countries. Useful if you hire creators outside the US.
Where we come out ahead: one written brief that every invited creator films against, so ten deliveries come back comparable; reshoots set by plan (one, three or unlimited) instead of whatever each package lists; and usage rights written into the brief before anyone films. The Collabstr alternative comparison walks through those trade-offs feature by feature.
How the same month runs on a brief-first plan
-
1
Write one brief
Hook, product beats, length, format, claims to avoid and the usage rights you need, in one spec.
-
2
Invite by name
Filter by niche and platform and read each creator's own rate before you invite anyone.
-
3
Pay into escrow
The card is authorized at hire and captured only after you approve the footage.
-
4
Reshoot on the plan
One reshoot on Starter, three on Plus, unlimited on Pro, the same for every creator.
Questions brands ask about Collabstr pricing
How much does Collabstr cost?
Collabstr has a free plan with a 10% hiring fee, Pro at $249 a month billed annually (about $299 month to month) with the same 10% fee, and Premium at $333 a month billed annually (about $399 month to month) with a 5% fee. Enterprise starts at $1,000 a month on an annual contract. Creator rates are paid on top.
Is Collabstr free for brands?
Yes. You can search creators and buy a package straight from any creator profile without a subscription. Each order carries a 10% hiring fee that Collabstr adds to the price. What the free plan lacks is campaigns: posting a brief and letting creators apply needs Pro or Premium.
Does Collabstr take a percentage?
On both sides. Brands pay a 10% hiring fee on the Free and Pro plans and 5% on Premium, added to the order total. Creators pay a separate 15% fee on their payout. On a $500 package on the free plan, the brand pays $550 and the creator receives $425, so Collabstr keeps $125.
Is Collabstr legit?
Yes. Collabstr has run a public creator marketplace since 2020, holds brand payments in escrow until you approve the deliverable, and carries a 4.5 out of 5 TrustScore on Trustpilot from 474 reviews, 88% of them five-star. The brand-side complaints that do appear are about hired creators who never respond and a few profiles creators say they did not set up.
What is the difference between Collabstr Pro and Premium?
Pro allows one campaign a month at a 10% hiring fee and tracks five live posts. Premium allows unlimited campaigns at a 5% fee, tracks 15 posts and gives 50 audience reports. Premium costs $100 more a month and pays for itself once you spend more than $2,000 a month with creators.
Can you cancel Collabstr anytime?
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time from account settings, according to the Collabstr pricing FAQ, and there are no contracts on Pro or Premium. The discounted prices of $249 and $333 are annual billing, so on those you are committed for the year. Enterprise is sold on an annual contract.
Is Collabstr worth it for brands?
For occasional buying, yes: the free plan with a 10% fee is as cheap as any platform when you order a few packages a year. It is weaker for a brand running paid social every month from one brief, because Pro caps you at one campaign and reshoots are whatever each creator lists on their package.
What is a cheaper Collabstr alternative?
If you only direct-hire, nothing undercuts the Collabstr free plan below about $5,000 a month of creator spend. If you need campaigns, a $149 plan with a 7% fee costs $200 less than Collabstr Premium at $2,500 a month of creator spend and $150 less at $5,000, as long as ten hires a month covers your volume.
